About Us

Paul Lee established the cabinetmaking business as a sole trader in 1979 at Redbank Plains, near Ipswich.  The majority of the work at that time was in the Ipswich area.

The business continued to flourish and extra staff and a larger workplace was required.  In 1985, Paul built the factory at 464 Warwick Road Yamanto and the business relocated to its current location.

Our company 'Paul Lee Cabinetmakers Pty Ltd' was formed in 1987 with Paul Lee, John Gesler, Wayne Tait, Bruce Strowe and Gary Dodt as owners and directors of the company.  They continue in that role today, with the exception of Wayne Tait who retired from the business in December 2010.

We currently have a strong team of skilled tradesmen, who take great pride in their work, ensuring it is of a high standard.  Some of our staff have been with us for over 20 years.

We service all areas in South-East Queensland and have gone as far afield as Katherine, Darwin and Cairns for commercial installations.

Since 1979 we have been building products of outstanding quality, firmly positioning ourselves as one of the most well-known cabinetmaking businesses in the Ipswich area.  Many of our customers keep coming back over the years as they have been very pleased with our quality of work and good service.
